I recently posted my Q1 Wrap Up, in which I talked about the books I read in January, February and March. I wrote a little about my TBR list, the books I plan on reading in April, May and June. I wasn’t going to make a separate TBR post, but with the amount of new books I purchased recently, I have enough to talk about! Here’s my TBR for the second quarter of 2016.
My Wrap Up for January, February and March can be found right here. Clicking on any book title will get you to the book’s Goodreads page!
The Mirror King by Jodi Meadows
Ahh! I’m so excited about this book! It was released on April 5th, but I still have to wait for my pre-order to come! I ordered a hardcover copy from the German Amazon and it’s going to take a while to get here. I’m super excited about this sequel/finale to The Orphan Queen!
Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone by J. K. Rowling
Better late than never, right?! I’ve been wanting to read Harry Potter for quite some time now, but I never got around to doing so. When I walked into this stunning edition of the book a few weeks back, I just couldn’t put it back on the shelf, so I went home with me!
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
I have to be honest here and say that pretty much the only reason why I got it is because it was a pretty cheap book. I was pretty fed up with The Mortal Instruments and just wanted something different to read. I enjoyed the movie so I’m curious about the book! It’s quite low on my TBR list though, so I might not read this for a while. I do plan on reading it soon though.
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
Argh! I still haven’t found the edition I’m looking for! Even Waterstones doesn’t have it anymore.. Dang it! I’m at this point where any edition will good, though. (Even though I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my bookcase!) No matter what edition I have to get, I will definitely read it sometime soon.
I’m currently reading Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch. The Iron King by Julie Kagawa is also on my “Currently Reading” shelf, but is a reread and when I got new books to read I abandoned The Iron King… I’ll be on a two week college break soon though, and I plan on finishing it then!
After these books, I’m not sure what I’ll read. I have City of Heavenly Fire on my shelf for when I’ve read City of Lost Souls, but the size is a bit overwhelming right now, so I might keep that one for summer. I want to continue/finish some series and trilogies, but I also want to read some different and non-fantasy books. With my two week college break coming up, I’m quite sure I’ll read much more than what I talked about in this TBR, but we’ll see what happens!
What should I read first? Let me know because I can’t choose!
