The Goodreads tag might be a little old, but I still like it very much! I did it once on my old blog and when I was moving reviews and bookish posts to Books & Babbles, I decided to update it. I love Goodreads and I love to talk about it so I answered the questions! Wanna know what I’m up to on Goodreads? Make yourself comfortable and keep reading!
What was the last book you marked as read?
Ten Thousand lies Above You by Claudia Gray. It was a reread, but it was still really good!
What are you currently reading?
Beautiful Creatures by Margareth Stohl and Kami Garcia. It’s my fifth or sixth time reading it but I still love it so much!
What was the last book you marked as to read?
Rebellion by Kass Morgan, the new book in The 100 series.
What book do you plan on reading next?
I have no clue! I want to read so many books… Highest up on my TBR are Ruined by Amy Tintera, The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and The Selection series by Kiera Cass. I’ll probably read one of those.
Do you use the star rating system?
When I started using Goodreads, I don’t think I did. I just used it to add the books I already read, to create my TBR and to keep track of the progress I made in a book. When I started reading more I started using the rating system. Now I write reviews I think it’s actually one of the most important things about Goodreads!
Are you doing a reading challenge?
Yes! I set my challenge at 25 books this year, not expecting to read as much as I did! Now I’ve changed it to 40. Which is a lot for me… But I think I’m actually going to make it!
Do you have a wishlist?
I use my TBR as a wishlist, but it’s not the best way of keeping track of which books I really want. I’ve started being very selective on which books are added to it, but I’m still a bit overwhelmed. I should really make a wishlist, but I just can’t prioritise!
What book do you plan on buying next?
This is such a difficult question! I really want The Selection series by Kiera Cass, but I also want Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare and Uprooted by Naomi Novik. Since my local bookshop sells none of these books in hardcover, there’s a huge chance I’ll get some completely different once before I finally order these from Book Depository.
Do you have any favourite quotes?
I really cannot pick a favourite, but one I really like is this one from The Mirror King by Jodi Meadows: “No matter the masks we wear, we always end up together.”
What are your favourite authors?
Oh my, what kind of question is this?! I really like Sara Raasch, Jodi Meadows, Claudia Gray and Cassandra Clare. I haven’t read much from the first three, but I love their books!
Have you joined any groups?
I haven’t! I can’t seem so find any awesome groups… I’m also not very fond of book clubs since I always finish books way too quickly to actually discuss them.
How many shelves do you have on Goodreads?
