Top Ten Tuesday: Beach Reads

I never go to the beach, which is a bit of a problem with this week's Top Ten Tuesday... Anyway, here's five books I'd read on the beach!I never to go the beach. And that’s a little bit of a problem with this week’s Top Ten Tuesday… (A super fun weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish!) This week’s list is quite a big challenge, but one that I’m totally up for!  I couldn’t get to ten, but here’s five books I’d read on the beach!

Beach Reads Week — top ten great beach reads, ten books I plan to read on the beach, ten beach reads for those who don’t like typical ~beach reads~, ten authors who are my go-to for beach reads, etc.

1. The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

This is the only one I can just think of without having to put any effort in the thinking part, hehe! First of all, there’s a beach on the cover (or at least there’s one on one edition, hehe) and it takes place mostly at the beach! Thinking about it, it gives the book a really nice setting… Maybe I should read this one again soon!

2. Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks

Is there actually a beach on this book? I’m not sure but I think there is! Since this is only the second book on the list and also a Nicholas Sparks book, I’m starting to sense a theme here! Not only do both of these have beaches, they are also perfect for reading on the beach! (If I ever went there, that is, hehe!)

3. My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult

Isn’t there a beach in this one as well? Ahh, it’s so long since I’ve read this one I don’t even remember! I think there is though. This would also be a perfect one for on the beach. As long as you read the sad bits at which you need to cry somewhere private, you should be good!

I’m not actually sure if above-mentioned books are YA, but I can’t think of any YA book that takes place on the beach or that I’d read on the beach!

4. The Legend of Zelda manga’s

If I were to go to the beach, I’d bring something easy and quick to read. And what’s quicker than a graphic novel!? I only have two on my shelf, and they’re both from The Legend of Zelda.

5. The Selection by Kiera Cass

Kiera’s writing is simple and fun and the Selection is a book (series) that’s super easy to read! It’s perfect for a day at the beach. You just find yourself a good spot, sit down and read until you’ve finished!
