Top Ten Tuesday: Book’s I’d Save If My Bookshelf Caught Fire

It's Freebie Week for this week's Top Ten Tuesday! The topic I chose for this week's list is: Books I'd Save If My Bookshelf Caught Fire!Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish, and this might be my favourite one yet! It’s freebie week, which means everyone gets to pick their own topic. I changed mine like a billion times until I found one I really liked. So this week’s Top Ten Tuesday is the books I’d save if my bookshelf caught fire!

FREEBIE WEEK — topic of your choice or go back and do one you missed!

1. The Mirror King by Jodi Meadows

This would literally be the first book I’d grab. I love this book so much, inside and out. (As in, the entire book is a beauty itself, but the actual story is amazing!) It was also my second hardcover edition ever and overall it just holds a special place in my heart.

2. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I have four Throne of Glass books on my shelf, so I’d probably save them all. (Especially Heir of Fire since I’m currently reading it and Queen of Shadows because it’s still TBR) They’re also hardcovers and they’re beautiful so I cannot risk them getting turned to ashes.

3. City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

City of Glass is by far my favourite Mortal Instruments book I cannot bear to leave this one behind!

4. The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia

Have you seen this book?! Could you seriously leave this one behind?! OMFG?! As a HUGE Zelda fan, this might actually be my number one priority would be bookshelf actually catch fire. It’s the size of an atlas, has fantastic artwork and honestly, it was a little too expensive to let go to waste, hehe!

5. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

Gotta admit the main reason I’m saving this one is for that heart-shattering epilogue. I absolutely love this book, but the epilogue was definitely the highlight. Also, the edition I own is extremely difficult to find these days, so I wouldn’t want to lose it!

6. A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray

Part of me wants to let my paperback edition burn to ashes so I can get myself a hardcover. But another is very sentimental because I consider this book to be the start of my love for reading. I’ve read this one so many times already, but I feel as if I could read them again and again.

7. Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch

If I owned a copy of Snow Like Ashes, I’d save that one (and this one too, obviously!) But I gave it away when I got another edition of ILF planning to get SLA in that edition as well. So far, I haven’t gotten it yet.

8. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

I read this one recently and even though I don’t consider this one to be my favourites, I love it a whole lot. I also really love my UK paperback edition. Also, I ordered it on Book Depository (my first Book Depo order!) and I had to wait for it way too long to let it turn to ashes, hahah!

9. Angelfall by Susan Ee

So, honestly, I don’t actually own a physical edition of this book. It’s on the Kindle app on my iPad. But if I had it, I’d save it. When I published my review (on my other blog) I’ve gotten so many positive messages! This book is kinda special to me so if I had a physical edition, I’d definitely save it.

10. The Selection by Kiera Cass

I don’t own a physical copy of any of the books in this series, but like Angelfall, I’d definitely save The Selection (the entire series) I read the first three years ago, then I reread the Selection at the start of this year as eBook and I recently listened to The Heir and The Crown. I’m getting the hardcovers sometime, so I can reread them all. Obviously, I’d save them.

I would save the same books! Especially Throne of Glass!!

    • Throne of Glass is the best! 😉

  • Allyson Gilmore

I haven’t read any of these but the Hyrule Historia, though I do think I own all of them! I would definitely save Hyrule Historia, and as luck would have it, it’s right by front door, so snagging it on the way out would be easy :p

    • The’s the perfect place for a book! Mine’s pretty high up on my shelf so it’ll take me some time to get it, haha!

  • Jo Elliott

I’ve read a few of these and the ones I have read I’d definitely save! Honestly my house catching fire and burning all my books is one of my worst nightmares!

        Let’s hope!

  • I did love it! I finished QoS before this was published and forgot to change it from TBR to read, haha! but I absolutely loved it!

Throne of Glass and The Selection are amazing, everyone should definitely save those! 😉

  • That’s one of the best things about ebooks & audiobooks, I can always get them back from the cloud.
