Usually a better off staying a book than becoming a movie, but movie adaptations can be done right! Here's some books I'd like to see as movies.Today’s Top Ten Tuesday (a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish!) is a rewind! Basically, we could all pick our own topic – one that was done before! Since I haven’t been doing this for all that long, I had a lot to choose from! Since I love movie adaptations, I decided to choose one about them! The Broke and the Bookish!) is a rewind! Basically, we could all pick our own topic – one that was done before! Since I haven’t been doing this for all that long, I had a lot to choose from! Since I love movie adaptations, I decided to choose one about them! Here’s ten books I’d love to see turned into movies.

Top Ten Tuesday REWIND — go back and do a topic you missed over the years or recently or a topic you really want to revisit

1. The Orphan Queen Duology by Jodi Meadows

The Mirror King is one of my favourite books and The Orphan Queen was amazing. I can just see a movie of this in my head, it would be so amazing!

2. Trone of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas

Throne of Glass is one of my all-time favourite series, and I can just see this amazing, vivid picture of how the movies could be!

3. Firebird Trilogy by Claudia Gray

This could be such an amazing Sci-Fi movie adaptation! Need I say more? I just really need to see this, guys!

4. Uprooted by Naomi Novik

Seriously. GUYS?! Anyone who tells you they don’t need an Uprooted movie adaptation in their lives are lying. Okay? Okay. This could be such an amazing high fantasy movie with magic and a living wood and magical world and… I need to stop, you get the point. I need an Uprooted movie.

5. The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

I think this is actually better for TV, but it’s still an adaptation anyway. I’d LOVE to see this as a TV show! It’s creepy and awesome and when I read the books, I can just kind of see a show in my mind!

6. Snow Like Ashes Trilogy by Sara Raasch

I really think this is one of the best YA high fantasy trilogies out there, and a movie would be amazing! I think it could be kind of Hunger Games-like with the different groups of people. I mean, the eight kingdoms are all so different, just like the Districts!

7.  The Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

I’m one of  those people who’s still pissed the rest of the Mortal Instruments wasn’t adapted into movies. Yeah, the last three books were kinda meh, but I need a City of Glass movie! I need to see Idris and Alicante! Also, I NEED the Infernal Devices and the Dark Artifices to be movies!

8. Mara Dyer Trilogy by Michelle Hodkin

Mara Dyer movies would be super intense! The books have such a creepy and insane, yet mundane vibe to them. And they could be the kind of movies that just keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!

9. The Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

I know Beautiful Creatures was made into a movie, it’s one of my favourites! I really wish it was done a bit differently, though! And I’d love to see the rest of the series made into movies as well!

10. The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa

Even though I’m not all that crazy about this series, I think movies would be wonderful! The Courts would look so fearie-like and magical!
