September ’17 TBR

September is usually the craziest month when it comes to (YA) releases. I mean, I think Sarah J. Maas always has a September release, and it’s generally just a busy month for books! Unfortunately, I had to cancel most of my preorders recently due to personal reasons, so I won’t be reading many new books. I’ve decided to take this time and read what’s on my physical TBR and hopefully I can get my anticipated releases for my birthday or something. Anyway, let’s dive into my TBR!

Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows

Another one I’m crazy about! I actually did Waiting on Wednesday post about it! (I blame these WOW posts for all the preorders I’ve done, EEEPP!) Jodi Meadows is one of my favourite authors and I just can’t wait to read about illegal dragon trafficking and a main character with mental illness in a fantasy book!

The Fire Queen by Emily R. King

I wasn’t all that excited about The Hundredth Queen (as you can read on Goodreads!) but I’m all for development and I really want to give this trilogy a second chance! There aren’t many reviews yet, but they are definitely positive so I’m very curious!

Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

I actually planned to reread this one in August, but that didn’t really work out. I really want to remember the details of EoS (and the rest of Throne of Glass) while I read Tower of Dawn so I decided to reread the series over the summer. I also haven’t reviewed the book yet! It’s a win-win situation. I get to have all of it fresh in my mind and I can finally write that way overdue review! I’ve started reading this one already, but I haven’t gotten quite that far yet!

The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco

Another one I planned to read in August (and maybe even July?) but didn’t get to. Since it’s been on my TBR for quite a bit I really want to make this a priority! I should have enough time between picking up my preorders to read this one.

A Court of Wings & Ruin by Sarah J. Maas (Audiobook)

Okay, confession. I hadn’t really planned on putting this on my TBR, but I needed some more books for my photo and thought “Why not listen to the ACOWAR audiobook? Like Empire of Storms, I still haven’t written a review for this book. Super crazy! There’s something about these SJM books… Hehe! Anyway, I’m going to try and listen to the book and then finally write that review!

Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton

I’m very ambitious this month, but I really gotta do something about my physical TBR! I don’t want to buy/get any new books until I’ve read all my currently owned books, but my birthday is in November and I’m like “Omg! Gotta hurry, gotta hurry!” I don’t, obviously. This is been on my shelf for so long, that I really need to pick it up this month.

What’s on your September TBR? Any new releases you’re looking forward to?

Beautiful picture! I still haven’t read ACOWAR, but I am very curious about it. I am looking forward to They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera and I can’t wait to read Wonder Woman, so these two will definetly on my TBR for september.

    • Thank you! Aaahhh, I want to read something by Adam Silvera so bad! Hopefully I’ll be able to pick on one of his books when my book ban is over and I can afford to buy books again, hahah! Wonder Woman isn’t really a priority for me (it’s not even on my Goodreads TBR at the moment) but I haven’t read anything by Leigh Bardugo yet and I really have to change that! I’m loving the new edition of the Shadow & Bone trilogy so I really want to get those. 😉
