EEEEEKK! I’m so excited! I was nominated for The Real Neat Blogger award by Sophie @ Books Like Wolves and then for the Liebster Award by Fanna @ Fannatality! I always feels so honoured being nominated for things like this and it means so much to me! I’d done the Liebster Award once before, but it’s been a while so of course I’m doing it again! Since both awards are essentially the same, I’ve decided to combine them!

Name your Top 3 Bookish Buzzwords (things that immediately make you want to buy a book)
Revenge, Royals & Magic. My favourite kind of books are the ones in which the long lost princess goes out to take revenge on her enemy kingdom! They usually have a magical element and they often have hate-to-love tropes. If I could only read two book for the rest of my life, it would be The Orphan Queen and The Mirror King by Jodi Meadows. They’re THE BEST.
What is your Favorite Book Cover of 2017?
Oh my goodness, I actually have no idea! I think it’s An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson? I really loved that cover because it was created by Charlie Bowater and it’s just so beautiful?! The real hardback copy cover is all shiny!
If you could commission two authors to write a book together, who would you choose?
Victoria Schwab and… probably Jodi Meadows! Their books are very different, but I love them both so much and their books are incredible! How cool would it be if they co-wrote a book together!?
What Morally-Grey Character / Villain do you relate to the most?
I literally have no idea! I suck when it comes to villains because I just don’t really care about them that much? Sure, I’d be like “Oh, that’s a cool villain!” but then that’s it and I will usually only remember the main character(s) of a book… HOWEVER, Victoria Schwab creates the absolute best villains and morally-grey characters so I guess I’ll use them for this question?
If everybody you met from now on could instantly know one thing about you, what would you want them to know and why?
That I love books, maybe? Most people who I meet online and through my blog know I’m a book lover, but not a lot of people in real life do and that really sucks sometimes! I wish people in real life, besides my mom, came up to me and be like “Can you recommend me a book?” or “What books have you read recently?” That would just make me so happy! Also, it would be nice if people could know I’m completely blind in my left eye and my right eye isn’t that great either. I often think of it as no big deal, but I can really struggle with things like sight, seeing depth and even balance! There’s never any real reason to tell people, but their are occasions when I’m like “darn, I wish (s)he knew this!”
What was your favorite T.V. Show as a child?
It was a Dutch show called The House of Anubis (it has been remade for the American Nickelodeon as well!) and it was the best thing ever! It was about this girl who went to live in a boarding school and she finds out there this huge mystery about a girl who used to live there and it was super scary when I was younger! It came on TV every weekday for years and I remember watching it with my family. There actually was a Throwback thing on TV recently and now they’re re-airing the entire series again. It’s just so cool!
What book would you like to adapt to a movie / t.v. show and who would you cast?
I would love to see Victoria Schwab’s books come to life on screen! It would be epic to see the story come to life in a movie theatre. I don’t know who I’d cast, though…

As a blogger, what’s that one change you want to bring to this community or the world for that matter?
I really want to help the community in any way that I can. I want to promote and support new bloggers, help them find their thing and just kind of bring the community together!
If you had to choose between your phone and your laptop, which one would you prefer to keep blogging through?
This is such a hard question! I’d say laptop, because that’s where I do all my blogging on, but I use my phone a lot for editing photos and checking little things on the blog and tweeting and stuff… I guess I’d have to say phone!
If bloggers, regardless of stats, had an annual Gala dinner, what would you wear to it?
I love this question! I’m not really one for dressing up fancy, so I’d probably wear my Dr. Martens with a pair of tights and a skater skirt (preferably with pockets!) and a comfy knit sweater.
When it comes to your blog posts, are you more enthusiastic about words or pictures?
Ohhhh, that really depends on the post! I really struggle with it. Sometimes I’m super happy about the post I wrote, but the picture wouldn’t work out. Or it’s the other way around. I can be really happy with a beautiful photo, but I think words make me more enthusiastic when I get them right because I often struggle more with writing.
Unfortunately, if some day your blog goes down, what’s that one social media handle that you would focus on solely?
Definitely Twitter. I do love Instagram, but it’s too limited for the things I like to do (like chat with people and share fun things I find) and I can still take beautiful pictures and share them on Twitter! I don’t use a lot of social media for my blog besides those, so it’s not a very difficult choice to make.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received as a blogger?
I honestly consider every blog-related compliment as “the best” because it just means so much to me that people take their time to say something lovely. There’s one that’s just been in my mind constantly since I go it, and that’s this tweet from Jenny @ Jenny in Neverland about by Bookstagram. I almost cried when I read it and it was so unexpected!
If you’d the chance to enter an alternate dimension, would you want it to have an entirely tech-y world or a pre-historic one?
Ahhh! This is so difficult because I LOVE TECH but I also like history… However, pre-historic goes a liiiiiittle too far back for me, so I guess a tech-y world it is!
Be a bird or fly a plane. What would you prefer?
Actually fly a plane, or just be on one? I guess it doesn’t matter as I’d rather just not be a bird, hahah! I’d love to fly a plane all over the world because I love traveling so much!
How much time do you take in writing a post and hitting the publish button?
That really depends on the post! I work on my wrap up all month as I update the draft every time I finish a book. My Behind the Books posts can take only an hour if I’m quick or in a rush, but I usually spend quite a lot of time on my posts and make sure they’re the quality I like them to be. I usually write a first draft and “polish” that until I’m happy and then I usually schedule it. I feel like I’m someone who takes a long time to completely finish a post. I guess I take longer than most bloggers!
If you were a goalie and the love of your life (can be anyone, not just romantically) was on the opposite team, would you let him/her/them/ze goal?
Probably not! I mean, I can be quite competitive… Ha! But I’m also really not sure and I’ve never really been in love but who knows? Love makes people do crazy things, right?
Supposedly there was an age limit to blogging, till when would you set yours?
Hehe, probably 100 so I never have to stop blogging unless I actually live a hundred years?! I love blogging so incredibly much and I’ve been doing it for so long. I just cannot imagine my life without blogging!
Thanks again so much to Fanna and Sophie for nominating me for these awards and asking all these fun questions! I really enjoyed answering them, even if some were a bit difficult. I really hope you guys like the post! If you guys have any more questions after reading all of this, feel tree to leave them in comments! I’ll try my best to answer them.
Before you go, answer one questions for me! Would you rather live in a pre-historic world, or a tech one? And why?
