OMG. Guys, I seriously don’t know how to make a TBR anymore. Like, how many books can I read in a month? Do I have any unread books on my shelf? Is there anything I need to read for my blog? Do I alternate between reading on my iPad and reading a physical book? I usually always knew what I was going to read next, but now…. It was actually difficult to put together a TBR!
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
I’m actually halfway through this one already, so it’s a current read. I usually don’t add those to my TBRs, but I’m so clueless about what read and how much time it’ll take me that I’ve decided to add it anyway. I really want to finish this one after I’ve finished To Kill A Kingdom, since it’s been on my currently reading shelf for way too long.
Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo
I finally got the trilogy boxset in January and oh. my. GOODNESS. I cannot wait to start reading! I’ve heard so many amazing things about these books and the new editions are so beautiful! I’ve also got the Six of Crows audiobook so once I’m finished with the trilogy, I can start it right away!
PS. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
I found the Dutch edition at a local bookshop in the damaged books sale and I just had to pick it up. I absolutely loved the audiobook of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and I’m sure I’ll love this one just as much. I feel like it’s quite a quick contemporary read so I’m planning on reading it this month.
Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo
I’ve intentionally not put together the two Grisha books as I don’t want to rush through them, if you know what I mean? It’s only a trilogy, but I don’t want to get in slump because I’m only reading this one thing for weeks on end. Unless, of course, the end of Shadow & Bone really makes me want to continue straight away. I don’t really stick to the order of my TBR, but I do like planning it out a little bit.
When I got a discounted three-month Audible subscription, I had already sort of decided what books I was going to get, but I’m getting the last one in March and I just can’t decide! I have a bunch of books on my wishlist (four, to be exact) and I just can’t make a decision. Do I go for Illuminae, even though I feel like it’s not my kind of book? Or do I get Crooked Kingdom, so I can listen to it after I listen to Six of Crows? Or do I get an old favourite I don’t own yet, like Wink Poppy Midnight or The Night Circus? Or should I maybe just go for something else altogether?
I feel like I usually made bigger TBRs, but I’m keeping it at this for now. This gives me both something to hold on to and some room to pick up whatever I feel like. I’m going to try and not to buy too many books the month, if any at all. I want to finish everything I own and reread some old favourites before I buy new things. Even though my Goodreads TBR currently counts less than 20 books, I’m a little overwhelmed by the few I own but haven’t read and I want to fix that first!
What’s on your March TBR? And what audiobook would you recommend I pick up?
