Through Portals & Down Rabbit Holes | Book Recommendations!

I love reading recommendations post. There’s nothing more fun than finding a book similar to a book I loved to read! I love recommending books myself, but I feel like I suck at it. Like, what if I’m the only one who things this book is like that other one? What if it doesn’t make sense? I thought I’d just give it a shot and see what happens. Today’s recommendation post is all about portal fantasies!¬† Read more

Down The TBR Hole

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by the wonderful¬†Lia @ Lost In A Story and I honestly wish I’d known about it sooner! Sometime last year – or even the year before that – I suddenly got very overwhelmed by the state of my TBR. It wasn’t manageable anymore and I couldn’t really tell what I actually wanted to read and what I was once interested it. A little while ago I discovered exclusive shelves and that changed my life! But still, I’ll always be working on my ever-changing TBR. That’s why I’ll be going down my TBR hole today! Read more

International Bookworms: The Netherlands in YA

Isn’t it awkward when you fail at your own meme? I guess it’s just really bad beginner’s luck on my part, and I am so sorry! You might have done today’s prompt already, but feel free to still link it up anyway, because I really want to read your posts! Anyway, today’s prompt is all about your own country in English books. I live in the Netherlands, so I’ll be discussing Dutch things in international books! Read more

The Longest Book Tag

There’s three ways to go at this post title; It’s either a veeeeeery long tag, or it’s a tag about long books. Or maybe it’s a very long tag about very long books? You’ll see in a minute, because Annemieke @ A Dance With Books tagged me to do this and I happily oblige. I have a love-hate relationship with long books because I kinda love them but they can also intimidate me very much (I’m looking at you, Order of the Phoenix…) Anyway, let’s get on with it! March ’18 TBR

OMG. Guys, I seriously don’t know how to make a TBR anymore. Like, how many books can I read in a month? Do I have any unread books on my shelf? Is there anything I need to read for my blog? Do I alternate between reading on my iPad and reading a physical book? I usually always knew what I was going to read next, but now…. It was actually difficult to put together a TBR! Read more

I’m glad to say the amazing books I read this month got my out a reading (and blogging) slump, and I hope everything goes according to plan and I can continue my regular blogging schedule! Anyway, here’s what I’ve read in February. Read more
