5 Reasons Why I Love A Series of Unfortunate Events

At the beginning of this year, A Series of Unfortunate Events premiered on Netflix and I’ve been in love with the series ever since. I never knew about the book series when I was kid, so I only started reading/listening to the series at the beginning of this year! The vibe of this series is dark and I guess you could say a bit ‘depressing’ as well as, obviously, unfortunate. It’s a perfect vibe for the dark and gloomy Autumn days, so I thought “Why not share some of my love for this series!?” Without further ado; here’s five reasons why I love ASOUE. Read more

I Am Drowning In My TBR Pile Tag

Contrary to what the title of this post might make you believe, I’m actually not drowning in my TBR pile. Yeah, yeah, okay, I hear your gasps and shocks and… Oh please don’t pass out! My TBR isn’t all that big, not compared to most bookish people in the community, anyway. My TBR is more like a kiddy pool. I’m not very tall, but I wouldn’t drown in there! Anyway, Lara @ Words With Lara tagged me to do this, and I happily oblige! Read more

Behind the Books: October ’17

Happy Monday, ya’ll! I have a love-hate relationship with Mondays, even though I don’t go to school or work anymore… Weird, huh? Anyway, I think we all should have a more positive attitude towards Mondays. Mine were certainly better when I thought of all the fun things that could happen in a brand new week! Oh gosh, look a me babbling about unimportant stuff! Let’s get on with my personal update, shall we? Read more

My Autumn Spotify Playlist

I always. always, always listen to music. Whether I’m travelling, reading, blogging or doing anything else. My headphones are quite literally glued to my ears and it has been that way for as long as I can remember. I sometimes try to make playlists for specific books, but it’s been a bit of a struggle lately. Anyway, I started creating this Autumn playlist last year and decided to pick it up again. Since I listen to this playlist a lot while reading, I thought it would be fun to share! Read more

Autumn Book Tag

Hi everybody! I hope you enjoyed the first week of my Autumn-ish posts last week. I had so much fun putting together all these posts and I’m going to keep publishing every Monday through Friday for the rest of the month. Tags are one of my favourite things to do, so I thought ‘If there’s no Autumn tag yet, I’ll create it myself!’ I didn’t have to, though, because I found this super fun Autumn Book Tag and I’ll be answering all the questions. Bookstagram 101: Autumn Photography

Autumn is the most beautiful season and you can make the most beautiful pictures with all nature has to offer! Here's some tips for Autumn photography.

Autumn is beautiful. The main reason Autumn is my favourite season is because nature changes in the most beautiful way. Autumn is perfect for (book) photography, but you don’t have to take your books out for beautiful photos. Want to know how to take the best Autumnal bookish photos? I have some tips! Read more

Snow Like Ashes Inspired Pinterest Board

Last year, before the release of Frost Light Night, I joined Sara Raasch’s Join The Blizzard contest. Sara was giving away an ARC a place on her War Council (a group who helped her reveal FLN news!) All you had to do was choose a kingdom and “prepare it for war” by doing tasks from a Rafflecopter giveaway. Of course I choose for the Autumn Kingdom! I did quite a few things, including a Pinterest board. It sat unused in my account for over a year, so I decided to finally bring it back to life. Read more

October & Autumn ’17 TBR

Last month I read and listened to 14 books and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. It’s so crazy! Since I was on such a roll on terms of reading, my October TBR was waaaayyyy too ambitious. I still wanted to keep lots of books on there, because last month I didn’t have enough and I think that might’ve ‘helped’ me get into a slump. I decided to make this more of an Autumn TBR, since October is all about Autumn on my blog! Anyway, here’s all the books I plan to read. Read more
