Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas is incredible! It’s a worthy sequel to Throne of Glass and I can already see the series become my favourite! These books are so good! Sequels barely ever make it to my Goodreads Favourites shelf, but for this one I’ll gladly make an exception!
The second ever #BookBabbleChat happened today! We talked about Movie Adaptations. We talked about what makes movie adaptations good or bad, shared our favourite and least favourite movie/TV adaptations are and talked about which books we’d like to see as movies or TV shows! If you missed the chat, feel free to answer the questions in the comments or on Twitter! In this recap I share my thoughts as well as some tweets that caught my attention! Read more
Behind the Books is my monthly blog and personal update. In this month’s Behind the books, I talk about my summer break, small changes to the blog, my first #BookBabbleChat on Twitter, my new Blog Planner, Camp NaNoWriMo, 100 books on my Goodreads ‘read’ shelf and more! Get yourself a drink and a snack, get comfortable and enjoy July’s Behind the Books post!
The Epic Reads Tag was created by Epic Reads sometime in January 2015. It’s a YouTube thing, but instead of making a video, I’ll be answering the tag’s questions right here on my blog. Want to know which author I’d invite for tea? Or what book I’d save if my bookshelf caught on fire? Keep on reading! Read more
Last week I told you guys I started my first blog series; YA Genres 101! Basically, I just did some research on YA in general and the genres of YA and decided to share my findings with you! Last week, I talked about YA in general, this week it’s time for my favourite genre: Fantasy! Read more
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke And The Bookish, and this week is all about me! Ah, that sounds so self-centered… Anyway, for this week I thought of some facts about myself! I divided them into three sections: General Facts, Bookish Facts and Facts About Me as a Blogger! I hope you enjoy my post and don’t forget to leave some facts about yourself in the comments!
Last month was the first time I ever listened to an audiobook. I got myself a two week free trial to an audiobook subscription called Storytel and started listening to The Heir by Kiera Cass right away. It felt a little weird at first, but I enjoyed it so much! Just like physical books and ebooks, audiobooks have pros and cons. I love to discuss anything book related, so that’s why this week’s Book Babble (AKA bookish discussion!) is about audiobooks. The first time I joined a Twitter chat, I was nervous and shy, and I felt a little intimidated by all these amazing bookish people talking to each other. At the same time, I felt so welcomed into this community! At the end of that first chat I knew: I was going to host a Twitter chat one day! I was so nervous about it, though! But I then I thought, you know what? I’m just gonna do it! And so the #BookBabbleChat happened Read more
When author Calista Lynne emailed be about this ARC a few weeks ago, I could not say no! The synopsis was unlike anything I read before (or even heard of!) and the cover is stunning! I was all heart eyes for it (and I still am!) Of course, I read We Awaken and I just had to write a review! Please, keep in mind this is an ARC review, the things I mention in this review might be a bit off from the final version of the book!
Today’s the start of my summer break and I decided to celebrate on my blog! I handed in my last college assignment last week, and it was a fun one! I had to do a photoshoot about something I liked. At the start of the course, I knew immediately I wanted to do something with books. I decided to make my topic/title Magic in The Real World, and use Harry Potter for an example. Read more
