Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Throne of Glass is an amazing YA Fantasy writting by New York Times Bestselling Author Sarah J. Maas. Here's my spoiler free review!Sometime back in February, I read Throne of Glass on my iPad Mini. I was travelling to and from Austria by myself and was quite distracted (since it was my first time on a plane!) I enjoyed the story, but it didn’t really “hit” me until months later. I loved it! I wanted to continue the series, so I did something crazy and ordered book one to four in the series! I’m going to read and review all the books, but let’s start at the beginning with Throne of Glass.

July TBR

July TBRNew month; New TBR! I cannot believe it’s July already! I’m on summer break right now, which means I have so much time to read! This will be my last read summer vacation before I finish college next year,  and also the last time I’ll be able to really use that time to do nothing other than read. I usually don’t have a lot of time to sit down and read, so I plan on using it!  Read more

June Wrap Up

I consider June to be my Throne of Glass month. I started reading the series on June 2nd, I think, and continued until I finished all four books. It took me nearly all month, but the series turned out to be one of my favourites. I’ve also read a Kindle and listened to three audiobooks. I’m really happy with what I read/listened to and even though I didn’t finish all the books on my June TBR, I’m content with the amount of books that I was able to finish this month!

Movie adaptations; sometimes I love 'em, sometimes I hate 'em. Want to know what I really think? Let's discuss some books and movies! There was a time when the only books I read were those from the movies I watched.  Since last year, I’ve been reading books that haven’t been turned into movies and I love them so much more! Movie adaptations intrigue me. Sometimes they’re amazing, sometimes they’re not. But people’s opinions on those movies are what’s most interesting to me. Read more

The 100 by Kass Morgan

Books with tv adaptions are scary. They can either be really good compared to the show, or really bad. The 100 was kind of in between.

I read The 100 a few months ago and when I was moving reviews from my old blog to Books & Babbles, for some reason I didn’t publish this one. Later, I saw no reason to published it at all, but then I found out there’s a new book on the way! The 100 is the book the show was based on and books with movie or tv adaptions are always a bit scary to me. They can be a huge success or a huge failure. Luckily, The 100 wasn’t that bad at all!
