Since I’m currently reading the Throne of Glass series and I’m absolutely loving it, I decided to make this week’s Top Ten Tuesday all about it! (Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish!) This week’s topic is “Reasons I love X.” I thought of about a hundred different topics, made a few lists and in the end decided to delete them all! Finally, I came to the conclusion Throne of Glass would be a great topic, so here it is: ten reasons I love Throne of Glass! Read more
I looooooove tags! Usually, I just tag myself in whatever fun tag I can find. But this time I didn’t have to! Nienke from The Daily Planets tagged me to do the Book GIF Tag! She gave me ten books to which I had to respond with a GIF. Oh boy, that was still pretty difficult! Anyway, here’s my GIF tag! I gave no explanation whatsoever, so have fun figuring out what I mean, hehe… Read more
A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray is one of my favourite books. I read it three or four times since I got the book at the start of 2015 and a review was way overdue! I honestly can only be positive about this book. With part three of the Firebird trilogy coming out at the end of the year, I thought it was time for a reread and review! Read more
Ice Like Fire is the sequel to Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch. In Snow Like Ashes, we were introduced to a bunch of very well written characters and a great plot. In Ice Like Fire we continue on their journey. Meira and Theron are two of my favourite book characters and I was so excited to finally get my hands on this book!
Alrighty. So, yesterday I told you guys about how my wrap up for the second quarter of 2016 went completely out of hand. I mean, sixteen books in two months with still a month to go before the wrap up was supposed to be published was a liiiiiiitle crazy. I decided to stop doing quarterly wraps ups and TBRs and start doing them monthly. There might not be as many book in them as when I did them quarterly, but at least it’s easier to keep track of things! But anyway, enough babble for now… Here’s my June TBR!
This wrap up is a bit weird. I originally planned to do quarterly wrap ups, because I thought I wasn’t reading that much. Turns out, it’s actually getting very out of hand. Over the past two months, I have read 16 books. SIXTEEN BOOKS! Guys! That’s ridiculous! Alright, two of them are novella’s and a few of them are rereads, but that’s crazy! Before I had to put more books in this post, I decided to just post it. I’m going to do monthly wrap ups and TBRs from now on! Read more
I never to go the beach. And that’s a little bit of a problem with this week’s Top Ten Tuesday… (A super fun weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish!) This week’s list is quite a big challenge, but one that I’m totally up for! I couldn’t get to ten, but here’s five books I’d read on the beach! Read more
I’m in a Dutch YA group on Facebook. A while back, instead of asking what book everyone thought was best, this person asked about the worst. Someone left a comment saying good and bad is different for each reader, and I agree. Since then, I actually started thinking about it a lot. What are the definitions of good and bad when it comes to reading? Short answer: there is no real definition! Read more
City of Heavenly Fire the sixth and final book in the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I have to admit, reading the last three books in the series was a little painful. They weren’t as good as the first three! I’m glad I still managed to finish the series! Read all about City of Heavenly Fire in my last spoiler free Mortal Instruments review.
Top Ten Tuesday is a super fun weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. I love doing this every week and it’s so much fun to think about the different bookish (or non-bookish) topics! This week’s topic is books I feel differently about. At first, that seemed pretty much impossible, but I was wrong! There are so many books I feel different about now time has passed! Read more
