A little while ago, I got the best email! I was asked to join the blog tour for Lexa Hillyer’s Winter Glass and oh my goodness, I might’ve just screamed. YAY. YAY. YAY!!! I absolutely LOVED Spindle Fire when I listened to the audiobook last year and Winter Glass was one of my most anticipated releases. I got to read it earlier and I got to ask author Lexa Hillyer some questions! Read her answers down below. Read more
Even though I am a HUGE fantasy enthusiast and mainly blog about fantasy, I love making exceptions for the other books I love or books that I’m just really excited about. In this week’s Waiting on Wednesday, I want to talk a contemporary: A Lite Too Bright by Samuel Miller.
Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody releases tomorrow! I am just SO excited about this book (as you could’ve read in my Waiting on Wednesday post.) It’s also my first preorder of the year and I already cannot wait for it to be delivered. I’m even more excited about being on the blog tour! I love lists, and I’m so happy Amanda took some time to make a list of ten touristy things to do in New Reynes, or: the City of Sin. Here’s the list! Read more
Hey guys! We’re three months (and a few days) into the new year and I thought it would be fun to do an update on the Beat The Backlist Reading Challenge! Although I’m surprised by the amount of 2018 releases I’ve been reading, I’m still reading quite a lot of backlist books and it’s so exciting to finally “catch up” with popular books I hadn’t read before. It’s quite easy to find out what I’ve been up to in terms of reading, but I’ve decided to focus on the backlist books in this post. Happy reading! Read more
WOW-WEE! It has literally taken me for-e-ver to finally pick up a Leigh Bardugo book. But I finally did it! I gotta be honest with you, I was never really that interested in the Grishaverse. Strangely, though, I can’t really explain why! These books had never been on my TBR before and I don’t think I’d ever actually read the synopsis of Shadow & Bone before I decided to pick up the box set. I guess I just trusted everyone who was even the littlest bit positive about Leigh and the series? Anyway, here’s my review!
Will April be the month I finally get through all the unread books on my shelf?! I think I just might! I do have some Kindle books on my iPad that I haven’t included in my TBR, but I think I might actually be able to pick those up as well – since I’ve been flying through books lately. Also, they’re just the kind of books you naturally go through without any effort. I’m so excited! anyway, here’s my April TBR. Read more
I guess you could say March was Leigh Bardugo month when it comes to my reading. I actually think I started reading most of them in February, but then I finished most of them in March so… Maybe both months weird Bardugo month? I LOVE these books, you guys! I’d never read the Grisha books before but I’m so glad I did! I did also pick up some other books, of course. Here’s what I read in March.
Are you getting familiar with the International Bookworms meme yet? I hope you are because we’re back with a new prompt and it’s just so exciting! Today’s all about the life of international book bloggers. I already cannot wait to read everyone’s post because this is such a wide topic and you can go in so many directions with this one! But first, let’s get into my own post. Don’t forget to link up your own post, by the way! Read more
In March 2016, I bought my first Harry Potter book on a whim. In January, nearly two years later, I started reading the last one. I grew up with the movies and loved them but I had never read the books before. It was such a wonderful journey, and I decided to dedicate a blog post to it. I haven’t actually finished the final book yet because I had to prioritise some other books for blogging and such. This post is not really about finishing Deathly Hallows and the series, though. It’s about my experience reading this books over the last two years. Read more
When I found out Sophie @ Books Like Wolves tagged me to do the Muffin Book Tag, I literally squealed! A MUFFIN BOOK tag?! Yes, please! Not only did I get to answer fun bookish, muffin-related questions, I also decided to bake some muffins for the photos! Basically, today was a muffin kind of day. Anyway, let’s get into the questions and – of course – my answers! Read more
